Accounting Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Compensation: $95,000 – $120,000 base salary + bonus potential

Schedule: On-site with flexibility

Overview

We are partnering with a growing organization in Salt Lake City seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting. This is a key role for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and partnering closely with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Manage general ledger activity and ensure accuracy across accounts
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and reporting
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior management or leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
