The Role 

TruAdvantage is seeking a Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the Bay Area market.  This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, developing Centers of Influence, and owning the front end of the sales process. You will be responsible for generating opportunities, qualifying deals, and working closely with leadership and technical teams to move opportunities forward. 

You will be expected to run, or be trained to run, your own first-time appointments and take full ownership of deal qualification. 


Responsibilities 

  • Develop and manage Centers of Influence (CoI) relationships to drive referral-based pipeline 
  • Prospect and engage net-new SMB organizations in the Bay Area 
  • Run first-time appointments, including discovery and initial qualification 
  • Own qualification of deals before handoff or progression through the sales cycle 
  • Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to align solutions with client business needs 
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and reporting within CRM and sales tools 
  • Represent TruAdvantage’s values, brand, and consultative approach in all client interactions

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Base Salary: $80,000- $100,000. On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180,000–$200,000
