About the Role: We’re partnering with a mission-driven media and storytelling organization focused on Israel–Palestine. At a critical moment, they are seeking a senior leader to guide the organization’s next phase—building on a strong legacy while evolving its strategy, strengthening its reach, and deepening its impact.
This role sits at the intersection of journalism, film, and narrative change, and requires someone who can lead with clarity, integrity, and nuance in a highly dynamic and sensitive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and evolve the organization’s vision, strategy, and theory of change
- Guide the organization through a complex and rapidly shifting Israel–Palestine landscape with thoughtful, values-aligned decision-making
- Oversee a multidisciplinary team (~20–30 staff across editorial, creative, and operations)
- Ensure strong operational foundations across finance, HR, and legal compliance
- Align senior leadership around priorities and drive cross-functional execution
- Partner closely with the Board on governance, strategy, and long-term direction
- Provide executive oversight across journalism, documentary, and creative work, ensuring high standards of integrity and independence
- Serve as a public-facing leader across media, civil society, and philanthropy
- Build and maintain relationships across stakeholders in Palestine, Israel, and the US
- Lead fundraising strategy, grow revenue, and oversee a multi-million dollar budget

What You Are
- A senior leader with a deep, nuanced understanding of Israel–Palestine
- Experienced in media, journalism, film, or narrative-driven organizations
- Proven in leading teams and organizations through growth, change, and complexity
- A strong fundraiser with experience securing major gifts and managing multi-million dollar budgets
- An excellent communicator and credible public-facing representative
- Skilled at navigating politically and culturally complex environments with sensitivity and integrity

- Compensation aligned with experience and location
