Founding Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role: We're partnering with an early-stage health technology company making preventive, longevity-focused care accessible to everyday patients—covered by insurance. Their AI platform supports patients between clinical visits, helping them understand their risks and build healthier habits over time. They're hiring a founding full-stack engineer to build—and rapidly improve—the end-to-end product that makes that care feel useful, personal, and habit-forming.

Where the Founding AI Engineer owns the intelligence layer under the hood, this role owns what patients actually see, use, and return to.

What You'll Do

• Own features end to end: frontend, backend, data, and the AI in between
• Ship the smallest thing that tests a hypothesis, instrument it across the patient lifecycle, read the data, and decide what to do next - often in the same day
• Design and run product experiments: ship behind a flag, measure, and kill what doesn't work
• Work across product, clinical, and engineering to figure out what to put in patients' hands that measurably improves their health
• Set the patterns—how the team ships, measures, and iterates - that everyone who comes after you inherits

• Features in patients' hands quickly, instrumented, and generating real learning
• Engagement and retention metrics that compound as experiments resolve
• A product people return to because it actually helps them

What You Are

• A strong full-stack engineer comfortable across the whole stack: frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure
• Someone with real product taste - you care about user behavior, not just code quality
• A hypothesis-driven builder: you ship behind flags, measure, and cut what doesn't move the needle
• Able to move without a spec; you optimize for learning velocity over polish
• Drawn to healthcare, behavior change, and prevention - what gets you up in the morning is building something people return to because it actually helps them
