UI/UX Designer

About the Role: We're: hiring a design thinker for a social media platform experiencing hyper growth. They are building a social media platform across both mobile and web — and the design experience needs to feel seamless on both. You've designed for mobile and web before and you know that great design is equal parts empathy, craft, and pragmatism. You thrive in a fast-moving environment where good and shipped beats perfect and delayed.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end design process across mobile and web, from concept to production-ready assets
• Translate user research and feedback into intuitive experiences on both platforms
• Maintain and evolve the UpScrolled design system across mobile and web

What Success Looks Like

• A consistent, polished design language is live across both mobile and web
• Engineers have clear designs to build from with minimal back and forth

What You Are

• An experienced UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio of shipped mobile and web products
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable designing for both iOS/Android and browser environments
• Someone who can balance aesthetic quality with practical constraints across platforms

What You Are Not

• Someone who specializes in only mobile or only web and can't comfortably do both
• Someone who hands off designs and disengages from the implementation process
