Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join a large, industry-leading financial institution. Your primary mandate is to design, develop, and support robust backend services and applications for enterprise-scale operations. In this role, your absolute main function will be writing clean, efficient Java code and building scalable microservices using the Spring Boot framework. This position focuses on implementing core business logic, supporting database interactions, and ensuring overall system performance so that the organization's backend applications run securely and seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities

Core Backend Development: Serve as a core technical contributor responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Java.

Microservices Architecture: Design and build resilient, decoupled microservices using Spring Boot to support broader enterprise goals.

API Engineering: Create and maintain reliable RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between various internal services and external platforms.

System Optimization: Monitor application performance, identify technical issues, and write efficient code to improve processing speeds and system stability.

Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with other engineers and technical teams to integrate backend logic with database systems and frontend applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 4 to 6 years of proven, hands-on professional experience as a backend developer.

Core Technologies: Strong, demonstrable expertise in Java programming and the Spring Boot ecosystem (this is a strict requirement).

Microservices Mastery: Solid understanding of building, deploying, and maintaining microservices architectures.
