Role Overview

We are seeking a highly adaptable and technical Senior Analyst to join our Data Analytics and Product Ownership group within a leading enterprise financial institution. While situated within a product management department, this role leans heavily into technical and analytical execution rather than traditional product management. You will act as a key cross-functional partner, leveraging strong technical and analytical skills to solve complex data challenges, support multidisciplinary teams, and deliver data-backed insights. This position is ideal for a hands-on analyst who thrives in a dynamic environment and prefers focusing on complex data execution over managing end-to-end product lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep, highly technical data analysis to support strategic business objectives, product initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across technology, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate complex data structures into actionable operational intelligence.
• Adapt quickly to shifting project priorities, seamlessly transitioning across different analytical domains and project streams as needed.
• Extract, model, clean, and analyze complex datasets using core technical analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) to build robust reporting and support decision-making.
• Serve as the primary technical data resource for the Product Ownership group, providing the quantitative heavy lifting required for product roadmaps and feature validations.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in data analytics, advanced data manipulation, and complex technical problem-solving.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and clearly articulate technical data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of adaptability with a demonstrated ability to pivot focus and succeed in fast-paced environments.
• Note: Extensive product ownership or product management experience is not required; the primary focus of this role is technical data analysis.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Technical Analytics Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in deep technical data analysis and querying complex datasets (e.g., advanced SQL, Python, or data visualization frameworks).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively across diverse team structures to build and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility to navigate changing requirements, reprioritize workloads, and handle varied analytical demands.
• Role Alignment: A explicit preference for hands-on technical data execution over strategic product ownership responsibilities.
• Contract Commitment: Availability and commitment to fulfill a long-term contract term (18 or 24 months).
