Warehouse Generalist (Electronics Repair & Deployment)

Location: Mississauga, ON Compensation: $20.00 / hour Job Type: 1-Year Contract Openings: 5

About the Role: We are partnering with a top-tier technology and logistics facility in Mississauga to hire five reliable Warehouse Generalists. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will split your time between the Repair Centre and the Deployment Centre. You will be working directly with Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware, ensuring equipment is tested, repaired, and shipped out flawlessly.

What You Will Be Doing:

Equipment Repair & Testing

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, clean, and reset electronic equipment (specifically POS terminals).
• Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) checks to guarantee that all repaired devices meet strict performance standards.
• Strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain ISO9001:2015 quality compliance.
• Partner with your team to spot recurring hardware issues and recommend workflow improvements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean individual workstation.

Order Fulfillment & Deployment

• Support the daily order fulfillment pipeline to ensure production targets are met.
• Perform final visual and technical inspections on hardware right before shipping.
• Coordinate directly with the inventory control team to ensure the right products are in stock for scheduled deployments.
• Quickly identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues that pop up during the outbound process.

What We Are Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training or certifications are a big plus).
• Experience: Previous background in a warehouse, logistics, or basic repair environment is highly preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Strong basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and general familiarity with navigating ERP software systems.
• Hands-on: Comfortable using basic diagnostic equipment and standard hand tools.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to comfortably lift, maneuver, and carry items weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Work Style: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. You must be a great team player who is also trusted to work independently.
