Our client is a long-standing CNC machining shop in San Jose with 30+ years of experience serving aerospace, medical, defense, and commercial industries.

What You’ll Do:

• Write and edit CNC programs (MasterCam preferred).
• Lead a small team of 5 machinists – assign work, mentor, and keep projects on track.
• Improve processes to make jobs faster, smoother, and reduce waste.
• Work with engineers and quality teams to read blueprints and solve problems.
• Check parts during production to make sure they meet quality standards (GD&T, ISO).
• Train machinists on new programs, tools, and best practices.
• Keep records of programs, setups, and changes.
• Follow and enforce all safety rules.

What You Need:

• 2+ years CNC programming + Machining experience.
• Strong skills in MasterCam.
• Solid understanding of G-code, tooling, setups, and machining processes.
• Able to read complex blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Good at problem-solving and improving workflows.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
