Underground Construction Technician – Support Nationwide HDD Operations for Snam Communications Inc

Pay: 25–35 per hour, based on experience and equipment skills
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel: Regular project travel required; overnight travel may be necessary depending on project location
The Opportunity
SNAM Communications is hiring Underground Construction Technicians to support horizontal directional drilling and underground telecommunications infrastructure projects throughout Utah.
This is a hands-on outdoor construction role for dependable people who are comfortable working hard, working safely, and supporting a crew in changing field conditions. Previous underground utility experience is helpful, but it is not required for every candidate. Strong candidates may come from landscaping, excavation, roadwork, utility construction, or other physically demanding outdoor trades.
Candidates with mini-excavator, hydro-vac, potholing, or underground utility experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.

Successful team members are reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and willing to do whatever is needed to keep the HDD crew productive. You do not need to know every aspect of directional drilling on day one, but you must be willing to learn, work hard, and contribute to the team.
