Junior Field Plumbing Operations Coordinator

Supporting Project Management & Field Execution

The Opportunity

This role is designed for someone who wants to grow in the commercial plumbing and mechanical construction industry by supporting the Project Manager and field teams on active job sites. You will help keep daily operations organized, assist with project coordination, and ensure field crews have what they need to execute work efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and ready to learn the operational side of commercial TI projects from the ground up.

You will work closely with the PM and Field Operations Manager, gaining exposure to scheduling, logistics, labor coordination, and jobsite communication while developing into a reliable operational support lead.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Assist the Project Manager with coordinating daily field activities across multiple commercial TI projects.
• Support communication between field crews, GCs, clients, and vendors to maintain clear project updates.
• Help track labor hours, material deliveries, and jobsite logistics to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are followed on all active job sites.
• Identify potential field issues early and escalate them to the PM or FOM before they impact schedule or cost.
• Provide administrative and operational support including documentation, photos, reports, and field notes.
• Contribute to a high‑accountability culture by supporting and reinforcing company standards with field staff.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in construction, field coordination, or a related fast‑paced environment.
• Basic understanding of plumbing systems or mechanical trades (commercial experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track labor, materials, and jobsite needs.
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with GCs and site personnel.
• Comfortable with technology, including tablets, smartphones, and construction software (we use Bluebeam and Procore).
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience supporting project managers or field supervisors.
• Familiarity with cost tracking or basic project budgeting.
• Exposure to apprenticeship programs or mentoring junior field staff.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
