The Opportunity
As an Electrical Superintendent, you will serve as the primary field leader directing large-scale commercial and industrial electrical installations across government and federal project sites. You will drive high-stakes project execution while empowering field crews and upholding rigorous safety and quality standards. This role gives you the platform to manage complex power distribution projects from start to finish within a rapidly growing organization.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Direct, manage, and mentor electrical crews executing complex commercial and industrial power distribution projects.
- Oversee the safe installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of switchgear, motor controls, branch circuits, and lighting systems.
- Plan daily field operations, delegate technical tasks, and align manpower to ensure project timelines and productivity targets are met.
- Interpret complex electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and project specifications to guide accurate field execution.
- Maintain strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and corporate safety protocols across all active jobsites.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to verify that all workmanship meets high-quality construction standards.
- Communicate project milestones, material requirements, and field challenges directly to Project Managers and client representatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience managing commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Proven track record leading crews from project kickoff through final commissioning and closeout.
- Extensive working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and jobsite safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from technical schematics, single-line diagrams, and architectural drawings.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Advanced safety certifications, including OSHA 30-Hour, NFPA 70E, and CPR/First Aid.
- Equipment operator certifications for scissor lifts, boom lifts, and reach forklifts.
