The Opportunity

You will serve as a key operational leader overseeing all emergency mitigation, board-up, and contents projects for Thompson Restoration Associates. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you will drive operational excellence, manage project financials, and build a high-performing field team. This role gives you the leadership autonomy to motivate direct reports, build strong client relationships, and deliver top-quality restoration solutions across Central Ohio.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Oversee all aspects of emergency mitigation projects from planning and scheduling through budgeting and final job sign-off.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate direct reports to build a motivated team aligned with company culture and core values.
• Manage project financials, job profitability, and resource allocations to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to complete accurate estimates, sales, and timely project billings.
• Enforce strict adherence to IICRC standards, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols for hazardous environments like mold, lead, and sewage.
• Conduct regular team training and auditing of field documentation, work authorizations, and job site records.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in construction management, emergency mitigation, and structural drying practices.
• Deep knowledge of safety practices for working in hazardous environments, including lead, asbestos, mold, sewage, and soot.
• Strong technical familiarity with industry software including Xactimate, rLinc, HH2, and Sage/Timberline.
• Solid understanding of insurance claim procedures, permit processes, and building inspection requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience conducting performance reviews, coaching teams, and driving accountability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first, problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Active IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, AMRT).
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA and EPA safety compliance standard implementation.
• Prior experience developing internal recognition programs and structured employee training plans.
