The Opportunity

TLC Construction Industries, Corp. is seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial roofing and waterproofing projects throughout South Florida, with occasional travel for projects outside the local area.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced roofer who can organize crews, maintain quality and safety standards, communicate with project leadership, and keep large-scale projects moving efficiently.

The right candidate will understand commercial roofing systems, know how to lead experienced field employees, and be comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day jobsite execution.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead and organize roofing crews on commercial and industrial projects.
• Assign daily responsibilities and ensure crews understand project priorities.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers regarding manpower, materials, production, and jobsite conditions.
• Read project requirements and help ensure installation work follows approved plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
• Oversee installation and repair of commercial low-slope roofing and waterproofing systems.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship, productivity, and site organization.
• Monitor material usage and communicate upcoming material or equipment needs.
• Identify jobsite issues early and communicate changes or obstacles to project leadership.
• Conduct quality checks throughout each phase of work.
• Maintain safe work practices involving ladders, lifts, fall protection, tools, equipment, and work at heights.
• Communicate professionally with general contractors, customers, inspectors, and other trades when required.
• Document field progress using CompanyCam or similar field-management tools.
• Support crew training and reinforce proper installation techniques.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of roofing experience, with meaningful commercial roofing experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience leading roofing crews or acting as a lead mechanic, foreman, or field supervisor.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial low-slope roofing installation and repair.
• Familiarity with systems such as thermoplastic roofing, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, waterproofing, flashing, insulation, and related commercial roofing assemblies.
• Ability to identify proper tools, materials, installation methods, and jobsite sequencing.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and roofing equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor South Florida conditions.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of commercial roofing work.
• Strong communication, organization, and crew-leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to report to the Pompano Beach area and travel to project locations as required.
• Authorized to work in the United States in accordance with applicable employment-verification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience supervising commercial roofing crews.
• Experience managing crews of approximately 5–10 or more field employees.
• Experience working on large commercial projects.
• OSHA, fall-protection, lift-operation, or other applicable safety training.
• Manufacturer-specific roofing or waterproofing certifications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience with CompanyCam or similar field-documentation software.
• Experience coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and customers.
