The Opportunity

You will take custom residential and commercial metalwork projects from initial layout all the way through to final installation. This position provides the unique chance to blend mechanical skill with artistic problem-solving on a wide variety of custom builds. You will join a collaborative team where every project allows you to take true pride in your craftsmanship without required overtime.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Fabricate complex architectural handrails, gates, and custom elements in both the workshop and field settings.
• Interpret shop drawings and structural plans to accurately calculate mathematical dimensions and lay out precise cut lists.
• Execute high-quality MIG welding techniques including short arc and inner shield procedures.
• Grind and finish custom metal assemblies with strict attention to cosmetic detail and clean line aesthetics.
• Build and maintain durable jigs and fixtures to streamline production and ensure accurate fabrication.
• Solve real-time layout challenges on-site to complete installations that match artistic and structural specifications.
• Collaborate closely with team members across all project phases to maintain exceptional standards of workmanship.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven professional experience fabricating custom handrails, gates, and architectural metal elements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding techniques, including short arc and inner shield applications.
• Strong mathematical skills with a high level of comfort using geometry for accurate layout work.
• Hands-on competence operating industry-standard tools including bandsaws, ironworkers, and plasma cutters.
• Advanced grinding and metal finishing abilities focused on high-end cosmetic appearance.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 10 or more years of hands-on custom metal fabrication and installation experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience building and maintaining custom jigs and fixtures for complex assemblies.
• TIG, Tube Bending, Blast Smithing
