How You Will Make an Impact
- Install, configure, and service complex access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and system controllers.
- Terminate, route, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring for networked surveillance systems and security infrastructure.
- Diagnose technical hardware failures, wiring faults, and device communication performance issues in the field.
- Keep detailed documentation regarding customer contact and progress on various projects.
- Interpret architectural wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specific technical installation documentation to execute deployments accurately.
- Coordinate daily with project managers, field technicians, and multifamily property managers to complete scheduled service calls.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of completed on-site installations, infrastructure repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring practices and structural cabling installations.
- Solid technical understanding of access control systems and IP-based camera technology networks.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and work collaboratively within a dedicated, team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license with a consistently clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily or commercial low-voltage security environments.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Working knowledge of core networking fundamentals, including device connectivity and IP addressing.
- Manufacturer low-voltage or security industry technical certifications.
