The Opportunity

You will drive the full lifecycle design and engineering of complex industrial automated systems, turning preliminary concepts into high-performing equipment. This role empowers you to directly influence project outcomes, solve critical system-level challenges, and shape the future of bulk material handling solutions. You will build complex, real-world machinery in an environment where your technical expertise, vision, and craftsmanship truly matter.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead full-lifecycle engineering for industrial conveyances, robotic cells, and bulk material handling systems.
• Transform preliminary customer drawings into production-ready 3D CAD models and complete engineering packages.
• Optimize system layouts, robot reach studies, cycle times, and throughput to solve complex interference challenges.
• Direct cross-functional teams across design, electrical, and fabrication departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Partner with clients as the primary technical expert to define automation strategies and project requirements.
• Oversee on-site commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting to deliver fully validated operational systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proven hands-on proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and detailing (SolidWorks preferred).
• Demonstrated experience designing and integrating bulk material handling, automation, or robotics systems.
• Strong technical background in mechanical layout, structural alignment, and payload analysis.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for client meetings and commissioning activities.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 8 or more years of experience in industrial automation equipment design.
• Hands-on expertise with industrial control integration (PLCs, HMIs) and safety compliance standards.
• Experience writing technical proposals, conducting RFQ reviews, and supporting business development.
