The Opportunity

Bainville Concrete Construction is looking for dependable Concrete Laborers who want steady construction work, competitive pay, and an opportunity to develop into skilled finishers and future field leaders.

You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should have experience working with your hands, be comfortable on active construction sites, and be willing to learn. Candidates with concrete or general construction experience are strongly preferred.

For the right person, this can become much more than a labor position. Our goal is to help productive employees learn concrete finishing, equipment operation, job setup, and eventually crew leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Help prepare slabs and job sites before concrete placement.
• Set, clean, strip, and organize concrete forms.
• Place and tie rebar while maintaining proper spacing and layout.
• Assist crews during concrete pours.
• Rake, shovel, move, and spread concrete and construction materials.
• Help finishers with screeding, floating, edging, and other placement activities.
• Clean, organize, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with site cleanup and material handling.
• Learn proper concrete finishing and setup techniques from experienced crew members.
• Safely work around pumps, skid loaders, backhoes, laser screeds, riders, and other construction equipment.
• Help with additional construction work during slower concrete periods, including framing, drywall, doors, trim, and interior build-outs.
• Travel to regional projects when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical construction work.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, shovel, and work safely around active construction operations.
• Willingness to learn concrete construction and finishing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a small crew.
• Basic understanding of construction tools and job-site safety.
• Reliable transportation to the shop.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of construction experience.
• Previous concrete experience.
• Rebar, form-setting, or concrete-placement experience.
• Farm, mechanical, equipment, carpentry, or other hands-on trade experience.
• Equipment operation experience.
• CDL.

Compensation & Growth

Experienced, productive laborers will generally fall in the 22–28+ per hour range depending on skill and performance.
