About the Firm

We are representing a family-owned CPA firm based in Peachtree City, GA — and they are growing fast. Their team combines the personal attention and long-term client relationships of a boutique practice with the depth of expertise and service breadth typically found at much larger firms. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a seasoned Tax Manager who shares their passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes and developing the next generation of accounting talent.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the center of the firm's growth. You will bring deep technical tax expertise, a genuine love of mentorship, and a relationship-first approach to every client interaction. You will partner directly with firm leadership, helping shape both the technical direction and culture as they scale.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and review complex tax returns across a diverse client base — businesses, individuals, trusts, and nonprofits.
  • Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies that drive real savings and keep clients ahead of compliance requirements.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff at all levels; serve as both a technical resource and a role model for the team.
  • Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with clients by serving as a go-to advisor they can count on year-round.
  • Stay current on evolving tax legislation and proactively share insights with clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives that strengthen team performance and elevate the client experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Active CPA license (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
  • Proven track record in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge across individual, business, trust, and nonprofit taxation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and sound professional judgment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relationship-driven approach — you enjoy building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, timely work under deadline pressure.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, people-first culture where your contributions are recognized and your career can thrive.
  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement.
  • Meaningful opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.
  • Genuine flexibility and a deep respect for work-life balance.
  • A seat at the table — real influence over firm direction, team culture, and client service as they grow
