Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with experience in trust administration, real estate transfers, and entity formation. This individual will play a key role in supporting attorneys and clients with the setup and maintenance of trusts, transferring assets (including real property) into trust structures, and forming business entities such as LLCs and S Corporations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation, review, and management of estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts
  • Coordinate and execute the transfer of assets into trusts, including preparation and recording of deeds and related real estate documentation
  • Support entity formation processes, including LLCs and S Corporations, across multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare and file formation documents (Articles of Organization, Operating Agreements, EIN applications, S-Corp elections, etc.)
  • Maintain corporate records, compliance filings, and entity documentation
  • Communicate with clients, title companies, lenders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely filings for both trusts and business entities
  • Assist attorneys with due diligence, document organization, and transaction closings
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research related to estate planning and corporate matters
  • Support ongoing trust administration and post-formation entity maintenance


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, with a focus on estate planning, trusts, and/or corporate law
  • Hands-on experience transferring real property into trusts and preparing related documentation
  • Experience forming and maintaining LLCs and S Corporations
  • Strong understanding of estate planning documents and entity structures
  • Familiarity with state filing requirements and compliance processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification or ABA-approved program completion
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or family offices
  • Knowledge of multi-state filings and real estate transactions
  • Familiarity with legal software and document management systems
