FP&A Manager – Transactions & M&A

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager with a strong background in transactions and M&A to join our finance team. The ideal candidate brings a public accounting foundation and deep familiarity with the healthcare sector. In this role, you will serve as a key finance partner across deal evaluation, integration planning, and ongoing financial planning and analysis.

What you'll do

  • Lead financial due diligence and analysis in support of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side engagements
  • Build and maintain complex financial models for deal valuation, scenario analysis, and post-close integration
  • Partner with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
  • Develop and present financial reporting packages, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for senior leadership
  • Support integration workstreams post-acquisition, including system consolidation and financial reporting alignment
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting across the organization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and executive teams on strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

  • 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
  • Background in public accounting strongly preferred (Big 4 or regional firm experience a plus)
  • Direct experience working with healthcare clients or within a healthcare organization
  • Demonstrated M&A experience — financial due diligence, quality of earnings, or post-merger integration
  • Advanced financial modeling skills; highly proficient in Excel and financial planning tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required

Nice to have

  • Experience with healthcare-specific financial metrics (patient revenue, payor mix, EBITDAR, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ERP and FP&A platforms such as Workday, Adaptive Insights, or NetSuite
  • Prior exposure to private equity-backed environments
