Senior Director, Sales & Business Development — Domestic Health
📍 Washington, DC (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays)
💰 $158,000 – $253,800 base + bonus + equity eligibility
About the Role
We are partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization building an AI-powered behavioral intelligence platform that helps healthcare leaders understand the “why” behind patient and population health behaviors. By uncovering beliefs, barriers, and decision drivers, the platform enables more effective interventions and improved outcomes at scale.
This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving strategic growth for a flagship data product in the US healthcare market. You will own complex enterprise sales cycles while also shaping go-to-market strategy, refining positioning, and helping build a scalable revenue engine from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive full-cycle enterprise sales from pipeline to close
- Identify and develop high-value healthcare system, payer, and public health opportunities
- Translate complex AI/data capabilities into clear business value
- Build relationships with senior healthcare stakeholders and decision-makers
- Partner with product, R&D, and marketing to inform product direction
- Help build a repeatable, scalable go-to-market motion
- Identify strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities
- Represent the organization at key industry events and client meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Experience selling SaaS, data, analytics, or AI solutions into healthcare or related industries
- Proven success closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
- Experience in early-stage or scaling environments
- Strong ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complex concepts into clear value
- Comfortable working across health systems, payers, or public health organizations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and adaptability

- Experience in healthcare AI, analytics, behavioral health, population health, or healthcare intelligence platforms
- Experience building GTM motions, strategic partnerships, or new market expansion initiatives
Deal Breakers:
- Healthcare industry sales experience
- Enterprise/B2B sales experience
- Individual contributor experience only with no ownership of strategic growth, large accounts, or executive stakeholder relationships
- Unable or unwilling to meet Washington, DC hybrid requirements
