We are seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to lead and oversee a high-volume personal injury practice based in Uniondale, NY. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within a personal injury practice
- Oversee case strategy from intake through resolution, ensuring high-quality legal work and client outcomes
- Handle a reduced caseload of complex or high-value matters
- Drive litigation strategy, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Ensure compliance with New York legal standards, deadlines, and firm protocols
- Mentor and develop junior attorneys and legal staff
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvements, case management workflows, and performance metrics
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active New York Bar admission (required)
- 7+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- Prior team leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality
- Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
- Experience with case management systems and legal technology
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
