Location: New York City

Work Arrangement: On-site five days per week, with occasional flexibility

Employment Type: Full-time

Base Salary: $160,000–$200,000

Visa Sponsorship: Not available

About Our Client:

Our client is a seed-stage technology company building an AI-powered labor marketplace for outbound sales representatives. The platform gives businesses access to trained cold-calling talent while using AI to manage prospecting, coaching, follow-up and CRM activity. This allows representatives to focus on what technology cannot replace: genuine human conversations. The company has approximately 26 employees across the United States and India and is entering a significant stage of growth. The team plans to scale its sales representative marketplace from approximately 20 representatives to more than 2,500 while building toward $25 million in annualized revenue. This is a fast-moving, high-ownership environment for someone who enjoys building from scratch, operating without a fully developed playbook and working directly with company founders.

The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for a Growth Manager with deep, hands-on experience in sales, cold calling and representative coaching.

This person will manage and develop a portfolio of 100–250 cold-calling representatives while creating the scripts, training resources and performance systems required to scale the marketplace.

This is not a traditional people-management role. The successful candidate will combine frontline outbound sales expertise, analytical thinking, coaching ability and a genuine 0-to-1 builder mentality.

What You Will Do:

  • Coach and manage a portfolio of 100–250 cold-calling representatives.
  • Use performance data to identify growth opportunities across the representative network.
  • Improve meeting-booking rates, call quality and overall representative performance.
  • Write, test and continuously improve cold-calling scripts for more than 25 products.
  • Develop product messaging and talk tracks across industries including HVAC, dental and hospitality.
  • Create onboarding materials, training playbooks and scalable coaching resources.
  • Work directly with engineering to build an AI-powered coaching system capable of supporting thousands of representatives.
  • Lead quality assurance for booked meetings and ensure representatives meet both quantity and quality standards.
  • Identify and execute new pipeline-building opportunities as the marketplace expands.
  • Help establish the operating playbook for scaling the platform from hundreds to thousands of representatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • Three to seven years of experience in sales, cold calling, growth or a closely related role.
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant hands-on experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success coaching outbound sales representatives.
  • Strong personal cold-calling experience and a practical understanding of what drives successful conversations.
  • Experience developing sales scripts, product messaging or talk tracks from the ground up.
  • A track record of improving meeting bookings, sales activity or representative performance.
  • Comfort using data to identify performance gaps and prioritize coaching.
  • Ability to succeed in an early-stage environment with changing priorities and limited structure.
  • Willingness to work from the New York City office five days per week.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Particularly Relevant Experience:

Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have:

  • Founded or helped build an early-stage company.
  • Scaled a sales organization or outbound program from 0 to 1.
  • Built training or coaching programs for distributed sales teams.
  • Worked with AI-enabled sales tools, CRM platforms or labor marketplaces.
  • Supported sales teams serving small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Balanced strategic program ownership with hands-on execution.

The Environment:

The culture is fast-paced, scrappy and highly collaborative. Team members work closely with the co-founders and have meaningful ownership over their areas of responsibility.

The right person will be comfortable building the plane while flying it, adjusting quickly when priorities change and turning firsthand sales knowledge into systems that can scale.

If you are energized by early-stage growth, passionate about coaching sales talent and excited by the opportunity to help build an entirely new marketplace category, we would like to hear from you.
