About Our Client

Our client is rebuilding the foundation of the world’s largest industry: insurance. In less than a year, the company reached multi-seven-figure ARR and is growing 50% month over month. They have raised two rounds from Tier 1 investors, including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, led by the partner who was early in OpenAI, Cognition, and Scale AI.

The team comes from Harvard, Berkeley, Oxford, Optiver, AMD, and Palantir, with backgrounds in ICPC and NeurIPS. Their first two sellers closed $3.8M in three months. This is an entirely untapped $280B market.

About the Role

Our client is hiring an SDR to work directly with the CEO and SVP of Sales. This is not a typical SDR role. The company is moving $500K ACV contracts with a sub-100-day sales cycle, creating unmatched earning potential for someone hungry, aggressive, and competitive. The current SDR on the team is on track to make upwards of $300,000. High performers will be fast-tracked into AE or GTM leadership opportunities.

This is one of the first SDR hires, giving you the opportunity to help build the outbound engine behind the company’s enterprise growth from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline for massive AI-enabled enterprise service contracts ($500K+ ACV)
  • Own outbound across cold calls, email automation, LinkedIn, conferences, and any channel that books meetings
  • Build and aggressively expand target account lists aligned to ICP
  • Run first discovery calls and qualify high-value revenue opportunities
  • Work directly with senior sellers to convert conversations into real ARR
  • Build new playbooks, test new channels, and scale what works

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 1–2+ years in SDR, business development, GTM, or similarly performance-driven roles
  • Open to exceptional new grads with strong signals (Optiver, Jane Street, or equivalent internships/backgrounds)
  • Proven outbound pipeline generation
  • Comfortable with cold calling and live conversations
  • High agency, strong organization, and willingness to travel for events
  • Hungry, resilient, and highly competitive mindset
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Currently based in San Francisco preferred; relocation support available for subsequent hires

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or enterprise tech sales
  • Experience selling or working with AI-native products
  • President’s Club or above-quota performance track record

Benefits & Perks

  • Top quartile OTE with uncapped upside
  • Equity
  • Fast path to AE or GTM leadership
  • Direct impact on ARR and enterprise deals
  • Full relocation support
  • All meals covered
  • Productivity tools and software covered
  • Direct access to the CEO and SVP of Sales

Compensation

$70,000-$110,000
