About the Role:
Our client is seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong backend or full-stack development experience to help build the infrastructure powering its rapidly growing platform.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex distributed systems problems, simplifying fragmented data models, designing scalable APIs, and building products that directly impact thousands of customers. You'll work alongside an experienced engineering team and have significant ownership over product architecture, integrations, and platform scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs.
- Develop integrations across dozens of legacy ERP and construction software platforms.
- Create elegant data models that unify fragmented systems.
- Build high-performance services capable of handling millions of API requests.
- Design caching strategies to optimize performance and reduce latency.
- Build reliable infrastructure supporting real-time communication and synchronization.
- Develop scalable testing frameworks covering thousands of integration endpoints.
- Contribute across both backend services and customer-facing applications.
- Collaborate closely with founders and customers to rapidly ship new functionality.
- Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
Requirements:
Must Have:
- 1–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong backend or full-stack development experience.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing APIs and backend services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for building products from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Redis.
- AWS experience (EC2, CDK, cloud infrastructure).
- Experience designing scalable integrations or data platforms.
- Experience building developer platforms or APIs.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130,000 – $240,000
- Equity: 0.05% – 0.20%
