Backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, Global Founders Capital, and prominent healthcare and technology founders, the company has rapidly scaled multiple consumer healthcare brands across the U.S. and U.K. Now, they're looking for an exceptional Head of Viral Social to build and scale an organic growth engine capable of generating tens of millions of monthly views through creator-led, viral short-form content.
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Head of Viral Social to own and scale every aspect of their organic social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
This is far more than a traditional social media leadership role. You'll build the systems, creator network, AI workflows, distribution strategy, and performance engine responsible for driving massive organic growth across multiple consumer healthcare brands.
Reporting directly to the VP of Growth and partnering closely with the CEO, you'll combine creativity, analytics, AI, and operational excellence to transform viral content into a predictable customer acquisition channel.
What You'll Do:
- Own the end-to-end UGC and viral content strategy across multiple brands
- Recruit, onboard, and manage creators producing high-performing short-form content
- Build AI-assisted workflows to accelerate content production and optimization
- Develop scalable systems for editors, clippers, meme accounts, repost networks, and creator partnerships
- Analyze performance data to identify winning creative formats and rapidly scale successful campaigns
- Increase branded organic reach from millions to tens of millions of monthly views
- Optimize publishing cadence, engagement, and audience growth across social platforms
- Drive community engagement through comments, DMs, shares, and conversations
- Balance creative experimentation with healthcare compliance requirements
- Continuously improve operational efficiency while moving with speed and urgency
Requirements:
Must Have:
- 4+ years of experience leading viral social media, UGC, creator marketing, or influencer growth
- Proven ability to generate significant organic reach through short-form content
- Deep expertise with TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and creator ecosystems
- Experience building repeatable growth systems rather than executing one-off campaigns
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring and optimizing content performance
- Experience managing creators, editors, or distributed content production teams
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve creative workflows
- Excellent project management and operational execution skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary of $200,000–$400,000
- Equity package (0.15%–0.50%)
