Founding Head of Growth
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our client is building global payments infrastructure for the future of work, moving $1.5B a year to more than 1 million payees. The company is post-Series A and scaling fast, with a clear mandate to accelerate growth across user acquisition and revenue. They are looking for its first dedicated growth hire to own the entire growth function and build the playbook from the ground up.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Head of Growth, you will report directly to the CEO and own the entire growth function, strategy, execution, and iteration. This is the company's first dedicated growth hire, with a clear mandate to find creative, high-leverage growth strategies that accelerate an already impressive trajectory. You'll build the playbook, run the experiments, and lay the foundation for a growth team that will scale around you. This role is for someone with a founder's mentality who is energized by ambiguity, moves fast, and treats growth like it's their own company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Own our growth function end-to-end, strategy, execution, and iteration across all channels from day one
· Identify, test, and scale unconventional, high-leverage growth channels that go beyond standard playbooks
· Build the growth playbook for scaling user and revenue growth post-Series A, you create the process where none currently exists
· Work directly with the CEO to define and hit aggressive growth targets, high visibility, high accountability
· Lay the groundwork for a full growth team that will be hired around you as the function scales
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-Have:
· Proven track record of creative, results-driven growth work, you've done things that don't fit neatly on a resume
· High agency, you take initiative, move fast, and don't wait to be told what to do
· Strong analytical instincts paired with the ability to execute quickly without heavy direction
· Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes and systems where none exist Founder's mentality, you treat the company's growth like it's your own
· Minimum 3 years’ experience owning sales teams in the tech sector
Nice-to-Have:
· Experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure
· Background at a high-growth startup, you've seen what fast scaling looks like
· Familiarity with modern growth tooling, CRMs, automation platforms, and analytics tools
Compensation:
$150,000-$190,000
