About Our Client:

Our Client is building AI agents that are fundamentally transforming clinical trials by autonomously recruiting, screening, and supporting patients throughout the entire trial lifecycle. Their platform helps pharmaceutical companies dramatically reduce one of the largest bottlenecks in drug development—patient recruitment and retention—accelerating the delivery of life-saving therapies while eliminating billions in unnecessary costs.

After bootstrapping to enterprise customers and achieving exceptional commercial traction, Our Client recently raised a $4.3M Seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and is backed by an elite group of healthcare and technology founders and operators. Their AI platform already conducts more than 100,000 patient conversations every month and is being deployed by some of the world's largest clinical research organizations and pharmaceutical companies. This is an opportunity to join an elite team solving one of healthcare's most important problems at the earliest stages of hypergrowth.

The Opportunity:

Our Client is seeking a highly analytical Business Operations professional to partner directly with the founding team and help build the operational foundation of the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex business problems, and wants significant ownership across strategy, customer operations, go-to-market initiatives, and company building. You won't be confined to a single function—you'll help shape how the company scales.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with founders to solve high-impact operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead strategic customer deployments to maximize adoption, efficiency, and long-term success.
  • Build scalable operational processes that support rapid company growth.
  • Develop strategic partnerships that strengthen the company's growth engine.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable product and AI development recommendations.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
  • Analyze business performance and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Create repeatable frameworks for complex, first-of-their-kind business challenges.
  • Collaborate closely across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams.

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Management Consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG or equivalent)
  • Investment Banking (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan or similar)
  • Private Equity or Venture Capital
  • Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth technology company
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently define problems and execute solutions with minimal direction.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial modeling, operational analysis, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with significant ambiguity.

Nice To Have:

  • Startup founder or early employee experience.
  • Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or Biotech experience.
  • Experience working with AI products or AI-enabled businesses.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial projects or side ventures.
  • Experience building operational playbooks and scalable business processes.
