About the Role:

Our client is hiring a Founding Head of GTM / Revenue to architect and execute its entire go-to-market strategy. This is a true 0→1 leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from scratch, and wants to shape the future of an early-stage AI company. You'll partner directly with the founder to define the ideal customer profile, establish the company's market position, win early customers, and create the repeatable sales motion that fuels long-term growth.

This role is ideal for a former founder, founding Account Executive, or first GTM hire who combines strategic thinking with a willingness to personally own every stage of the customer journey.


What You'll Do:

·     Own and build the company's go-to-market strategy from the ground up

·     Define target customer segments, ideal customer profiles, messaging, and market positioning

·     Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, partnerships, content, community engagement, and creative growth initiatives

·     Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through demos, negotiations, close, and expansion

·     Develop pricing strategy, packaging, and commercial positioning alongside leadership

·     Close strategic lighthouse customers that become long-term references and case studies

·     Build repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and revenue operations

·     Partner closely with Product and Marketing to refine positioning based on customer feedback

·     Recruit and scale the GTM organization as the business grows


Requirements:

Must Have:

·     5–12 years of experience in B2B SaaS, AI, or high-growth technology companies

·     Demonstrated success building pipeline from nearly zero within an early-stage or startup environment

·     Experience owning the entire sales process without relying on existing infrastructure

·     Strong understanding of ICP development, messaging, positioning, and enterprise sales strategy

·     Track record selling emerging technologies or category-defining products

·     Builder mentality with exceptional ownership, urgency, and execution

·     Ability to thrive in fast-moving startup environments where priorities evolve quickly

·     Strong communication, relationship-building, and commercial instincts

Compensation & Benefits:

·     Base Salary: $160,000–$220,000

·     On-Target Earnings: $200,000–$300,000

·     Meaningful founding equity

·     Remote (West Coast preferred)

·     Opportunity to build and lead the commercial organization from day one
