Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team in either Houston, Dallas, or San Diego. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and data science solutions that support business decision-making and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on full-cycle data science projects, from problem definition and data preparation through model development, validation, and production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems
- Manage end-to-end data science projects, including data collection, preprocessing, modeling, evaluation, and production deployment
- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Build predictive models, classification models, and optimization solutions
- Collaboricate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement scalable solutions using modern ML and data engineering tools
- Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed
- Document methodologies, code, and results for reproducibility
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
- Support deployment of models into production environments using APIs, pipelines, or cloud platforms
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related role
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as:
- Scikit-learn

TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with data manipulation tools such as Pandas and NumPy
- Experience with SQL and working with large datasets
- Experience handling full lifecycle ML projects from concept to deployment
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methods
- Experience with model evaluation, tuning, and validation techniques
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying models to production environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with deep learning, NLP, or time-series modeling
- Experience working in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
