About Spearbit & Cantina:

We're building Cantina, an AI Security Platform that secures the world's code. Originally the "GitHub for Security" — connecting security researchers with the projects needing their expertise — Cantina has evolved into a multi-product platform spanning Apex, Clarion, and Cantina Bounties. It has powered major competitions and serves many of the leading projects in Web3, supporting collaborative security reviews, public and private competitions, bug bounty programs, AI-driven code analysis, and a security operations center (SOC) that monitors, triages, and responds to live alerts and threats.

Similar to how cloud-security startups emerged previously, Cantina aims to be the definitive code-security platform for the future.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to serve as the premier technical advisor for Cantina’s AI security platform. In this high-impact role, you will lead customer onboarding, configure cloud and SaaS integrations, and design advanced security operations workflows. You will act as the primary post-sale technical contact, partnering directly with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback into platform innovations.

Responsibilities

Customer Onboarding

  • Lead technical onboarding for new customers.
  • Configure and validate integrations across identity, endpoint, cloud, and SaaS platforms.
  • Help customers design their initial Clarion deployment.
  • Guide customers through best practices for agent configuration and automation.

  • Help customers design triage, investigate, and remediate processes.
  • Recommend integration strategies across security tools and identity providers.
  • Translate customer security goals into effective agent workflows.

Customer Success & Enablement

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact post-sale.
  • Answer technical questions through Slack, calls, and office hours.
  • Run training sessions and workshops.
  • Develop repeatable onboarding and enablement materials.

Product Feedback

  • Capture customer pain points and workflow gaps.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve the platform.
  • Identify opportunities to turn custom solutions into product capabilities.

Desired Experience

Security Operations

  • Experience working in a SOC, MDR, Security Engineering, Detection Engineering, or Security Operations role.
  • Strong understanding of security triage and incident response workflows.
  • Familiarity with common security frameworks and operational processes.

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Experience administering AWS/GCP environments.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • IAM roles and policies
  • cross-account access
  • audit logging
  • cloud security concepts

Security Tooling

Hands-on experience with several of:

  • Okta
  • Google Workspace
  • JumpCloud
  • Wiz
  • Panther
  • Splunk
  • Datadog
  • Microsoft Sentinel

Technical Skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot API integrations.
  • Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, SCIM, and identity concepts.
  • Comfortable reading JSON, logs, and API responses.
  • Basic scripting ability (Python, JavaScript, Bash, etc.).

Customer Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-experts.
  • Comfortable running customer workshops and architecture discussions.
  • Strong consultative mindset.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based compensation opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision and 401k
  • Opportunity to work in an early-stage startup with a talented and passionate team.
