Administrative and professional services team members support the people, systems, communications, and processes that allow CBS² to serve our clients effectively. Depending on experience and area of interest, opportunities may involve employee support, recruiting, marketing, grant development, accounting, technology, data management, office coordination, project administration, or business leadership.


These roles work closely with employees and leaders across departments and offices, providing opportunities to influence company culture, improve processes, and contribute to the continued growth of CBS².


Potential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support daily business operations within an assigned professional or administrative area.
  • Coordinate projects, schedules, communications, documentation, and internal processes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, applications, financial information, or marketing materials.
  • Maintain accurate records, systems, databases, files, and documentation.
  • Communicate with employees, leaders, clients, community partners, vendors, or agencies.
  • Assist with process improvements and the development of consistent internal practices.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives involving multiple departments or office locations.
  • Research information, analyze data, and provide recommendations.
  • Provide dependable internal customer service and follow-through.
  • Assist with or lead departmental planning, programs, projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Mentor employees or coordinate team activities when appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

We encourage professionals with a variety of educational and career backgrounds to express interest. Relevant qualifications may include:

  • Education, training, or professional experience related to the area of interest.
  • Interest or experience in human resources, recruiting, marketing, communications, grant writing, finance, accounting, information technology, administration, project coordination, or another professional service.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through completion.
  • Comfort learning new technology, systems, and processes.
  • Commitment to providing responsive and thoughtful support to employees, clients, and partners.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a professional services, architecture, engineering, construction, or consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with applicable business software, databases, financial systems, HR systems, marketing platforms, or technical tools.
  • Experience coordinating projects, programs, deadlines, events, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications, specialized training, or professional credentials.
  • Experience developing processes, improving systems, or supporting organizational growth.
  • Interest in building relationships and contributing to a collaborative, people-first culture.
