About this role:

 We are looking for a Chief of Staff with 4-8 years of experience to serve as the connective tissue across a fast-scaling property management platform. You'll work directly with the CEO, juggling 10-12 priorities at once, driving execution end-to-end on the company's highest-impact initiatives as our client grows from a top 50 to a top 10 player in the industry.


What will you be doing:

  • Driving procurement strategy, RFPs, and vendor negotiations to leverage the platform's scale for revenue share and cost benefits
  • Building AI-enabled systems and automations to institutionalize company knowledge and improve operations (using Claude, Notion, etc.)
  • Supporting M&A integration efforts — helping acquired companies onboard onto the platform
  • Owning cross-functional special projects end-to-end (e.g., standing up new business segments, building the company website, creating internal processes)
  • Interfacing directly with CXOs and operators at acquired companies to identify and solve problems


Key Requirements:

Must Have:

  • 4-8 years of experience with a background in investment banking, consulting, or private equity — ideally followed by an operating role at a startup
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously and drive them to completion without handholding
  • Experience with procurement, vendor negotiations, or RFP's
  • Proven ability to juggle 10+ workstreams simultaneously with end-to-end ownership.
  • AI-enabled or technically curious — comfortable building workflows with modern tools and learning quickly
  • Must be able to work in-office full-time in NYC (Financial District) 4 - 8 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth operating roles

Nice to Have:

  • MBA from a top program (Harvard, Wharton, etc)
  • Financial modeling and strategic analysis, (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Scrappy, self-motivated operator who has consistently outperformed relative to their starting position (e.g., public school → top firm trajectory)

Compensation:

  • Salary $175K - $225K ($175K–$225K base salary + competitive equity.
  • Our client is early in its growth trajectory (targeting 5x unit growth in the next year), making the equity component a significant part of the total compensation package.)
